Dr. Kimberly Adams is joining Dr. Tom Milam, and Dr. Robby Adams, both psychiatrists, and the staff of Coastal Behavioral Medicine at 2301 Delaney Avenue in Wilmington. Dr. Kimberly Adams received her Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from Florida Tech in Melbourne, Florida. Dr. Kimberly Adams completed her internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in clinical neuropsychology and behavioral medicine. She completed a two-year fellowship in Neuropsychology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. She has also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatric Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Kimberly Adams specializes in neuropsychological testing and behavioral management of patients with disorders such as ADHD, traumatic brain injury, stroke, memory impairment, and dementia. She is also a cognitive-behavioral psychologist and treats adults and adolescents with depression and anxiety.
